Another fine addition to the West Valley Art Museum’s permanent display is the Japanese Woodcuts collection. Comprised of 54 woodcut prints from the 19th and 20th century, these woodcut prints are one of the oldest, and possibly simplest, techniques for making prints known.

Art enthusiasts who wish to research their favorite works can visit the Phoenix Art Museum Library. This public library has over 40,000 pieces that relate to the collection at the museum. These volumes are available to browse at the library, but they are not circulated.
