The Phoenix metro area is made up of parts of Maricopa County, Pinal County and Yavapai County. The largest cities in the area are Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale and Glendale. Of these towns, only Phoenix has a population of more than 1,000,000 people.

The Valley’s elite guard gated communities are located in the most scenic and expensive neighborhoods in the state. Guards phone residents before admitting visitors, and service workers enter only at scheduled times. Guests receive a one day restricted visitor’s permit that must be displayed on their vehicle.
